The Coiin Mining Algorithm calculates scores for each participant category — 3rd Party Validators, Applications, and Application Users — through a series of measured and weighted variables tied to the value they create on the Coiin Network.

In practice, this means:

  • 3rd Party Validators are scored based on the number of transactions they validated, their uptime, and their identity and economic activity.
  • Applications built on the Coiin Network are evaluated by the volume and quality of transactions they generate.
  • Application Users are scored based on their behavior, identity factors, and contributions within those applications.

Each participant's score is then used to calculate their proportional share of the Coiin reward pool distributed at the end of each lunar cycle (~28 days).
