3rd Party validators are independent participants who run validator nodes on the Coiin Network. By operating a node, they help validate transactions and contribute to the decentralization and security of the network.
There are two types of 3rd Party validators:
- Proxy Validators — Lightweight, browser-based nodes that anyone can run with a few clicks on Coiin.ai. No technical setup required.
- Independent Validators — Full nodes that run on your own computer (macOS or Windows) using the Coiin Network Validator Installer app. These provide greater decentralization and typically earn stronger rewards.
In exchange for their contribution, 3rd Party validators receive a proportional share of the Coiin reward pool at the end of each lunar cycle (~28 days).
