A Burn Unit is the minimum amount of Coiin required to perform a single burn. It is not a fixed number — the Burn Unit is variable and can change as often as every 30 minutes.
The Burn Unit is primarily determined by changes in the overall supply of Coiin tokens:
- As more users burn Coiin, the total supply decreases.
- As supply decreases, the Burn Unit also decreases, making it easier for more users to burn and benefit from a higher Validator Multiplier.
Before you burn, check the current Burn Unit on Coiin.ai. Your Rewards Balance must be equal to or greater than the current Burn Unit to proceed.
